The Italian School Giosurè Carducci is a small friendly Italian school where you will quickly feel at home and always receive the individual attention you deserve.
The teachers are the backbone of the school. It is in the relationship between students and teachers that the former will achieve their cultural and linguistic expectations. All teachers hold a University degree and are registered and have undergone specialised training for the teaching of Italian as a foreign language. Above all, they have the experience that comes from working in a school, which has always been a benchmark for the teaching of Italian language and culture.
The School offers Italian language courses in all levels from beginners to advanced. Semester course classes are held in the day time from 10.00am to 12.00 pm and in the evening from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. For detailed information on all our courses please visit the course outlines page.
The maximum number of students for each class is 10 students. This is to enable maximum levels of communication between the teacher and students and between the students themselves. This limit promotes an equilibrium between the learning of the language and its use.
In each semester course Conversation sessions are held at the restaurant “Otello on Oxford ”, 180 Oxford Street Bulimba, on the last Saturday of each month from 10.00am to 11.00am. All students are encouraged to attend and enjoy a relaxing morning of language immersion. Culinary demonstrations and the viewing of Italian films and documentaries are part of each course at the school.
